For the last couple of years we have been the proud owner of pigs. It all started approximately 4 years ago when Brody caught the greased pig at the Small Fry Rodeo during the fair. Wow I had no idea what would follow. The last couple of years we have bought pigs from Chad and Diane (Durfey) Goodwin who live in Notom. Chad and Diane had a big sow "Pigzilla" that gave birth to 17 piglets. Unfortunately, just a day or two after giving birth to the piglets she died. Chad and Diane had the task of bottle feeding 17 babies every 3 hours until they were big enough to eat on their own. When we went to pick out the piglets we wanted this year the children had the job of choosing 3. One for us, one for Grandma Connie, and one for Uncle Lance. Believe it or not...this was a hard decision to make. Here are the little piglets that made the cut.
