She's got the look...Get your head in the game!

For Haylie's dance recital in June she was really excited to perform what all the girls were calling "The Sassy Dance".  I didn't know what this was until dress rehearsal.  Boy was this dance cute.  Feather Boas, big sparkly rings and sunglasses were their props...Roxette's "She's got the look" was the music.  The girls performed this with a serious, straight face, (with a smile once in a while) and it was so so so cute.

Dress rehearsal...such serious little girls.

There's those cute little smiles.

Ending pose at dress rehersal. Kamryn, Lacie, Laine, Haylie, and Chyanne.

Haylie and her best little friend Laine performing in the recital.

na na na na na...She's got the look. (and attitude!)

One of her favorite poses from her other dance.

Cute little ending pose.

Brody had the opportunity to take clogging for 3 months.  He was really excited to start classes.  Since there wasn't a lot of time, the boys only did one dance.  They danced and did tricks with basketballs to the song "Get your head in the game."  Both boys Brody danced with were a lot older than him and they had both taken clogging for over a year.  I am really proud of the way Brody kept up with them and learned the dance so quickly.  When I went to sign him up, his teacher was a little hesitant because he was so young but after the first practice she told me over and over how happy she was to have him there.  She said he pays attention really well and seems to be picking up the steps rather quickly.  What a good little clogger he turned out to be (he must be taking after his dad)!

Dress rehearsal.

A little ball action.

Show Time!

They did more moves with the balls than actual clogging steps but he kept up!

Brody, Matthew, Braeden.

Ending Pose.

Brody and Haylie with their dance teachers Diane and Lonni.

Brody tired of pictures but Haylie wanted a "SASSY" one.

Cute little Kierra was the only cousin that was in the recital in June.  Her group got to dress like zombies and dance to Michael Jackson's "Thriller" so much fun to watch.  Good job to everyone!
