Easter is always such a fun holiday for us. We love getting together as a family and rolling (throwing) eggs, having a picnic, and just enjoying each others company.
One of the things my kids really enjoy is the Easter Egg hunt at Capitol Reef National Park. It's not always warm but the children always enjoy it.

Getting ready to start.
On your mark...get set...GO!!!!!!
Haylie takes the lead. Notice the mini skirt when everyone else are wearing coats.
Trying to see the one they missed.
She's spotted another one.
Brody...look to your right. They're everywhere!
They made out like bandits again this year.
After we finished at the Park we made our way down to Notom. Most of the family members were home. We missed the Watlons and new baby Quist but had a good time with those that were there.
Her Easter Eggs are as colorful as she is.
Part of the gang.
Grandma showing Brody how to throw horseshoes.
Always fun to watch the guys throw shoes.
Brody finally got the hang of it.
Come on Grandma.
Haylie never stopped. She was on the constant go.
A big crystal rock.
Mitch and Brody on top of a big hill a long way away. Good job boys!
Throwing eggs/dirt clots.
Mitch gives it a try.
Unfortunately for Lance, Brody has a pretty good arm.
Throwing horseshoes sure does make you thirsty!
The egg man strikes again. I don't think we can go 1 year without Lance and Brody engaging in an egg fight. Brody always gets the worst of it yet he is the on to throw the first egg the next year. Thank goodness they are both good sports.
